Sarah Lawrence

visual designer , speaker, instructor // I make maps and draw shit

Sarah Lawrence is a designer, illustrator, crafter, and general internet person in Atlanta, Georgia. Her hobbies include saving dogs from the highway and watching Doctor Who episodes on repeat.

Raised in the heart of intown Atlanta, Sarah started screenprinting and making her own clothes at eleven years old (okay, her mom helped with the sewing machine in the beginning). She built her first website at twelve to promote the stuffed monsters she made with her friend to sell at crafts’ fairs. It was actually pretty cool.

Sarah completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia, where she specialized in college radio, fashion shows, interactive events, and performing covers of Eminem songs. She gave a TEDxUGA talk in March 2014 on the power of collaborative mapping.

Currently, Sarah works as the visual designer for Roadie, a startup based out of Atlanta. In her free time, she works on a number of different side projects, from building web tools to sending fake marketing emails.
