InShow #20

InShow was founded to be a different kind of awards show. To celebrate the 20th InShow, we’re going to go back to the show’s roots and challenging the status quo again.

Everything you love about InShow is back. The basic structure of InShow is unchanged. Entries are either in or out. We welcome student and professional work from across the entire state. And of course, the award will be cube-shaped.

But we’re improving InShow in lots of ways…

Instant gratification. Well, almost instant. We all hate waiting to find out if we are in. And then waiting weeks or months to find out what exactly we won. So this year, we’re going to hold the Columbia drop off on March 27 and then hold the show on April 11. Two weeks between dropping off your entries and celebrating your success. Notification will happen on judging weekend.

Free to celebrate. We want everyone to be able to attend InShow 20 and see the best design that the South Carolina has to offer. So this year’s event will be free for all to attend.

A wider audience. The goal had always been to share InShow with a larger audience. So this year, the winning entries will be shown to designers from across the southeast at Converge SE in mid-April.

We’ll be posting more details shortly on drop off details and submission guidelines, but go ahead and start pulling together your best work from the last year and a half. Work completed between October 1, 2013 and March 27, 2015 is eligible for entry.
