Dribbble CHS with Tami Boyce

What does Bob Ross, a narwhal, and beer have in common? You’ll find the answer at the next Charleston Dribbble Meetup with Tami Boyce.

Our next speaker is a Charleston-based illustrator and graphic designer. Designing for almost a decade, her work has spanned from producing over 1,000 published book covers to character development and children’s book illustrations.

“Holding a pencil in my hand has been my passion as long as I can remember. I count myself as an extremely lucky individual because I have been able to make a career out of it. We all live in a very serious world, and I like to use my whimsical style to remind us of the love, joy, and humor that is often overlooked around us.”

Her work can be found at various establishments around Charleston, including Theatre 99, Early Bird Diner, Frothy Beard Brewing, The Station as well as ZaPow! Gallery in Asheville, NC.

Tami will be talking about her career path from novice to professional illustrator. She’ll explain how it was a journey of curiosity, following her heart, and a bunch of happy accidents. With Q&A to follow.

Ticket Price includes a beer, pizza, a chance to meet your new best friend and an inspiring talk with Tami Boyce
