The [WO]MAN UP! Conference started as a platform to celebrate and inspire women in the world in art and design. In its second year, we seek to expand the conversation about equality in the creative sphere by encouraging both men and women to attend and meet and mingle with both local and national leaders in design. Mainframe Studios provides a unique location for this creative conference as attendees can visit the numerous artist studios throughout the day and enjoy food and drink from resident caterer, Tangerine Food Co.

This all day conference begins with a presentation by Antionette Carroll of Creative Reaction Lab on creative problem solving for social justice. Attendees can then choose from a variety of break-out sessions ranging from participatory panels to hands-on workshops. The event is capped off with a keynote presentation by the acclaimed greeting card designer, Emily McDowell of Emily McDowell Studio.
