Made in the Middle: A Conference Devoted to Design and Creativity

There’s just something about where we come from. It’s not better or worse than anywhere else, it just feels right to us. While we’d normally not talk about ourselves we really want to share what’s happening here in the middle. The heart of our country is filled with vibrant creative talents. Made in the Middle celebrates these people and their stories.

Built by local artists, designers, makers and doers— Made in the Middle celebrates our pride in calling Kansas City, and the middle of the country, home. To expand that vision, we launched the Made in the Middle Creative Conference in 2016, offering a weekend of inspiring speakers, engaging workshops and thoughtful conversation through our lens. In 2018, Our goal is to inspire both Kansas City and the country, by emboldening attendees to pursue their passions, take risks, and celebrate creativity.
