Charleston Moves presents Light The Night 6.0, our bi-annual FREE bike light giveaway and educational campaign. On Friday, September 14, we will distribute bike lights and “Better Streets, Better Ride” spoke cards to the community. The spoke cards list basic legal rights and best practices to empower Charlestonians during their bike rides.

Eastside Community Development Corporation(ECDC) and MUSC Children’s Health/Safe Kids Charleston Area (MUSC) will also be joining. ECDC will have a table with neighborhood information and resources. MUSC will offer a bicycle skills activity for kids; bicycles will be available to borrow.

Please join us by pedaling to the Eastside’s Hampstead Square on the corner of Columbus and America Streets to collect your lights and spoke card for safe riding. Charleston Moves volunteers will also strap light sets to bikes parked and passing through the Eastside neighborhood.
